Nocedal Collection
Over 4,000 objects that show how people lived, worked and traded on the pampas, preserved so everyone can see them.
About the collection
Objects with a story
The Nocedal Collection brings together objects donated by the Nocedal family: bottles, soda siphons, tins, advertising signs, tools and general-store pieces that show everyday life in the pampas.
Professional conservators and archivists record, inventory and catalogue every piece. 2,384 pieces have already been catalogued, with a technical record and, in most cases, a photograph; the rest of the collection is still being surveyed. The full catalogue is available further down this page.
The collection is destined for the permanent exhibition at Lo de Urriza, the Pampas Museum.
