On May 18, International Museum Day, Fundación Nocedal and its museum Lo de Urriza took part alongside ICOM (the International Council of Museums) and chose to highlight work that often goes unseen: caring for the land ecosystem around the old store.
The grounds preserve native plants and endangered species such as the tala orchid. Protecting them is part of the same heritage work we do with the buildings and objects: the pampas landscape is history too.
